Did you know you can change the way you feel by changing the way you think? Each morning before you put your feet on the floor take a few minutes to be thankful for all the good things in your life. Now I realize negative thoughts and worry will start to creep in but push them down, take a deep breath and go back to all the goodness in your life. Your mind controls most of your behaviors and if you are full of positive thoughts and beliefs you will be more apt to behave in a more positive way. You make choices every day all day long so choose the positive.
We all know a doubting Debbie, is it you? If you can’t think of one, it is most likely you. Stop living in the dreary and choose to be happy. Worry never solved anything and you can’t get that time back so make the choice to be happy. It may take practice, that’s ok, each time you find yourself looking at the negative sit down, take a deep breath and remind yourself of all that is good in your life. Yes, waking up in the morning is a good thing, be thankful, having a roof over your head is a good thing, be thankful, having friends and family are good things, be thankful. I think you have the idea. Start out with the obvious and soon all the other good things in your life will start to surface-now that’s the beginning of a good day.
So if you are having a bad morning, bad day, bad week or month it is high time to give yourself a little thankful happiness talk. After all, being positive reigns!
