Fall and the Upcoming Holidays

It’s fall and time to look at what the next few months will look like for you. This is a great time to reevaluate your commitments and rid yourself of what is in the way of you taking good care of your health. We all fall into that mentality that this is holiday season so a few extra pounds are ok, now that it’s cold outside I am just going to hibernate, thank goodness for big sweaters and comfort food, and yes all those foody parties!

Now hold on just a minute. If you get rid of the unnecessary errands, promises to drive everyone everywhere, and saying yes to all the parties and gatherings, you can find time to continue to put yourself first. Remember to read labels, get an hour of activity in each day (even if it is 10 minutes at a time) and plan out your meals so that you continue to feel good through this chilly season we are embarking on. You are in charge of you and it is perfectly fine to stay on your wellness track and still enjoy the upcoming seasons – just be prepared, plan ahead and think it through.
